About Susan

A native Californian and forty year resident of Nevada City, Susan paints and teaches throughout California, in schools, for art organizations, the Sierra Club and Elderhostel. Her watercolor paintings reflect her love for the out-of- doors. Many are centered on the beauty of the Sierras and the rugged coastline of California. She also works in paper mache sculpture and designs masks that dance between her impressions of Native American art and whimsical fairy tale caricatures. She enjoys sharing her art with others.

Current workshops include watercolor, paper mache, stick painting, landscapes and animal painting.
